Nigeria's currency extended a winning streak against the dollar on Wednesday at the official market.
Central Bank data showed the naira closed at N1,357.26 on the day, compared to N1,361.05 the previous day.
That's a gain of N3.79 in just 24 hours. Over three consecutive trading days, the currency has rallied N9.50.
On the parallel market, activity remained subdued with rates unchanged. The naira stayed flat at N1,395 per dollar Wednesday.
Foreign reserves climbed to $49.88 billion as of Tuesday, CBN figures showed. The previous day's reserves stood at $49.80 billion.
Analysts have linked the naira's strength to improving external buffers. The currency also gained ground on Monday and Tuesday.
