A tragic incident occurred at the Air Force Comprehensive School in Mando, Kaduna, where a 15-year-old student, Blaise Felix Aliyu, was allegedly killed by two of his senior colleagues.

Aliyu, who was an orphan and survived by his twin brother, also a student at the school, was summoned to the seniors' room under the pretext of punishment but was found dead later.

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) expressed its sorrow over the incident and announced that an investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding Aliyu's death.

Air Vice Marshal Edward Gabkwet, NAF spokesperson, stated that the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, and the entire NAF family are deeply saddened by the untimely death of the student.

"To prevent any speculation, a comprehensive investigation is underway to determine the circumstances, reasons, and factors that led to the victim's death.

Be assured that this issue is being treated with the highest priority it warrants, and we will not rest until the truth is uncovered," Gabkwet stated in a release on Saturday.

The deceased's body has been deposited in the mortuary, and the investigation aims to provide answers to the tragic incident that has shocked the military boarding school community.
