Nigeria's Super Eagles dominated Jamaica 3-0 at Valley Stadium in London on Friday to clinch the 2026 Unity Cup title.
Alhassan Yusuf scored twice in the commanding performance. Captain Terem Moffi added a third goal to seal victory.
It was a replay of last year's final between the sides. Nigeria won without needing penalties this time around.
Yusuf struck early, capitalizing on Jamaican defensive errors in the third minute. He finished emphatically after the goalkeeper's mistake.
Moffi doubled the advantage in the 58th minute with a header from Femi Azeez's cross. His finish wrapped up the contest.
Yusuf completed his brace late in the match with a solo effort. He proved too much for the Jamaican defense.
The victory marks Nigeria's fourth Unity Cup crown since the tournament began. No other nation has won it yet.
Yusuf's two goals represent his first international strikes in 10 appearances for Nigeria. He made an impressive impact on the big stage.
Nigeria's B team has now gone six matches unbeaten against Jamaica. They've won three of those encounters in regular time.
Jamaica arrived in London as World Cup-bound qualifiers for 2026. However, Nigeria's squad demonstrated clear superiority throughout the encounter.
The Super Eagles also won the AFCON 2025 bronze medal earlier this year. Their form has remained sharp since that tournament.
Nigeria has more summer friendlies scheduled for their squad. They face Poland on Wednesday in Warsaw.
A second friendly against Portugal follows on June 10 in Leiria. Coach Yusuf will use both matches to prepare his team.
