Niger Delta activist,  Mulade now a Chief in Gbaramatu Kingdom

Niger Delta distinguished and well-respected activist Comrade Sheriff Mulade is now a recognized  Chief a  Traditional titleholder in the Gbaramatu Kingdom in Warri South-West, Delta State.
The Pere of Gbaramatu Kingdom, His Majesty Oboro Gbaraun the 2nd on Wednesday, April 1, 2020, conferred on Comrade Mulade as the Ibe-Sorimowei meaning “The Kingdom Lifter and the Hope of Society and Humanity”, hence he will be addressed and recognized as Chief Sheriff Mulade henceforth.
The conferment of Chieftaincy title on Chief Comrade Mulade is a sign to recognize his contributions to the development of the Niger Delta as well as Ijaw Nation, Delta state, Nigeria and the entire world the Monarch noted.
Comrade Chief Sheriff Mulade who is also the National Coordinator of one of first to known Centre for Peace and Environmental Justice, CEPEJ whose NGO has been doing great humanitarian services especially championing for a better environment, good hygiene freedom from oppression from multinational companies polluting and operating in the Niger Delta, expressed delight for the honour done him by his King.
Chief Mulade commended the Pere of the Great Gbaramatu Kingdom also known as the King of the  Niger Delta, Oboro Gbaraun the 2nd for the chieftaincy recognition, describing it as a great recognition coming from a traditional ruler in his area and as an opportunity to serve the people and humanity the more.
Chief Mulade a global UN peace ambassador appreciated the Gbaramatu Traditional Council of Chiefs for accepting him into their fold, he urged all sons and daughters from the Clan to sustain their support for the traditional ruler of Gbaramatu Kingdom in order to attract sustainable development to the kingdom, Delta State, Niger Delta and Nigeria at large, through peaceful coexistence, purposeful leadership and communal cohesion.
