NECO Releases 2023 SSCE Results After Several Delays

The National Examination Council (NECO) has finally released the results of the 2023 Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) after several delays that caused anxiety among students and parents.

According to NECO, out of the 1,209,992 candidates who registered for the examination, 1,197,661 candidates sat for the examination, while 12,331 candidates were absent.

NECO also announced that it has withheld the results of 73,309 candidates who were involved in various forms of malpractice during the examination.

Prof. Godswill Obioma, the NECO Registrar and CEO, expressed his joy for the candidates who passed the examination and advised them to check their results on the NECO website by entering their registration numbers and scratch cards.
