 Urhobo youths from the 23 Kingdoms in Urhobo Nation under the auspices of Urhobo Rebirth Movement of Nigeria (URMN) have urge an Itsekiri self-acclaimed Woman Leader, Chief Rita-Lori stop misleading the public by manufacturing lies against the origin of an illustrious son of Urhobo Nation, Olorogun Bernard Okumagba who was graciously nominated as Managing Director of Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC by President Mohammadu Buhari .

Rising from an enlarged emergency meeting held, in Otu Jeremi , Headquarters of Ughelli South Local Government Area, Delta State, co-chaired by Comrade Jeremiah Omodibo, President and Comrade Kingsley Diemo, Secretary, frowned at the stated credited to chief Lori, saying it’s unbecoming of a woman of her age.

The berated Chief Lori over her statement as published in one of the national daily describing it as not just misleading but wicked.

They added that Lori’s hate for the Urhobo nation has beclouded her sense of sound judgment and history, following her fallacious claim  that  “our beloved brother, Olorogun Bernard Okumagba who was appointed by our father, President Buhari as MD, NDDC is not from an oil producing community as stated by NDDC Act of 2000.”

Comrade Omodibo explained that it is true that Olorogun Bernard Okumagba is from the great “Okumagba Dynasty of Okrere Urhobo Kingdom of Warri paternally.”

He further disclosed for the record that, the area where you have NPDC largest office is jointly owned by Edjeba and Okere Urhobo Communities as an oil impacting Urhobo Communities in Warri South Local Government Area, where Olorogun Bernard Okumagba father and paternal mother hailed from (Okere Urhobo and Edjeba Communities).

He added that Chie Lori failed to understand that Okumagba mother is from Ukpiovwin, an oil and gas producing community in Udu Local Government Area, stressing that the Africa Tradition recognizes paternal and maternal linage.

“Based on the same NDDC Act of 2000 our brother Olorogun Bernard Okumagba is eminently qualify for the MD, position of NDDC since he is paternally and maternally from both oil and gas impacting and producing communities of Warri South and Udu Local Government Areas.

“You can now see the wickedness of the self acclaimed Itsekiri woman leader.

However, Comrade Omodibo exonerated the Itsekiri people who he described as “good neighbours and brothers,” from the “self centered and morbid hatred campaign of Rita Lori against not only Olorogun Bernard Okumagba as a person but the entire Urhobo Nation.”

“She quarrels with everybody yesterday including some illustrious Itsekiri sons and daughters. She even dragged some respected Itsekiri leaders to court recently and that has been her stock in trade! So we are not surprise at this unruly behavior coming from a grandmother.”

The group also in a statement signed by Comrade Jeremiah Omodibo, President and Comrade Kingsley Diemo, Secretary, condemned the action of some misguided south-south governors who called on the President to review the appointment to the new board of NDDC.

According to them, “our meeting was solely to tackle some selfish Governors of the South-South who cannot account for bailout funds given to them by President Buhari have consistently failed their people are opposing Mr President for appointing our brothers into the Board of NDDC.”

The group charged the governors whom they accused of running failed without been accountable to their people to mind their business because they lacks moral right to question Mr President choice to the board of NDDC.
