Nigeria's Democratic Congress says it has its eyes on Aso Rock come 2027. The party dismissed reports of internal turmoil in a statement posted Friday.
Party leader Seriake Dickson met privately with presidential candidate Peter Obi on the same day. Both men discussed recent developments causing worry within the party's ranks.
"There are no issues in the NDC. We are focused on taking Aso Rock," the party declared online.
According to Dickson, the two leaders resolved their differences amicably. He noted that party members would keep consulting with each other moving forward.
The goal, he explained, is to address all remaining concerns and cement party unity. Dickson believes this approach will strengthen their chances heading into the election battle.
