N-Delta Activist, George loses father, Pa Obriki

Prominent Niger Delta Activist, Tamunokuro George has announced the death of his father, Captain Ogenbo Obriki, who died on Monday 28th September, 2020.

Tamuno, a die-hard loyalist of Senator Godswill Akpabio, Minister of Niger Delta Ministry, in a statement said, Captain Ogenbo Obriki, a retired Army, passed on at the age of 80yrs, at Kpakiama town, in Bomadi Local Government Area of Delta State.

The Ijaw youth leader and politician, a native of Kpakiama, said, Pa Ogenbo Obriki’s burial arrangements shall be made public in due time.

Tamunokuro George is known for his fierce stand and support to the NDDC’s Interim Management Committee IMC, committed to efficient and effective implementation of positive policies and programmes of the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs.
