An Area Court in Jos on Monday sentenced a man 23-year-old man, Isaac Mali, for buying a stolen Samsung galaxy tablet.
The judge, Mr Shawomi Bokkos, sentenced Mali after he pleaded guilty and begged the court for leniency.
The judge gave the convict an option of N 10,000 fine.
Earlier, the Prosecution Counsel, Insp Daniel Ijuptil told the court that the case was reported at the Rantya police station on Feb 2, .
The prosecutor, further told the court that during police investigation the convict confessed to the crime
The offence, he said, contravened the Plateau State Penal Code law of Northern Nigeria.
