Jotun, a global paint and coatings manufacturer, has opened a new Inspiration Centre in Lagos.
Architects, engineers, and real estate professionals are the primary focus of this facility. It will also serve marine and fast-moving consumer goods organisations.
Company officials say the centre promotes local content and strengthens collaboration across key industries. The investment aims to boost Nigeria's infrastructure development and economic growth.
Jotun is spreading investments across oil and gas, energy, construction, hospitality, and marine sectors. Local manufacturing capacity and skilled job creation are central to the strategy.
Jagdish Jethvani, managing director of Regency Overseas Limited, explained the company's commitment to Nigeria. According to him, the Inspiration Centre represents a deliberate shift toward local industrial development.
"The new Inspiration Centre reinforces our long-term commitment to Nigeria's construction, industrial, and manufacturing sectors," Jethvani stated during the unveiling. He noted that the facility sits on Victoria Island in Lagos.
Professionals can access technical guidance and colour advisory services at the hub. Product demonstrations tailored to modern project needs are also available.
Jethvani described it as more than just a retail outlet. In his words, it's a collaborative space where colour, design, and innovation meet to serve homeowners, interior designers, architects, and contractors.
"It combines inspiration, technology and personalised service," he added. Global best practices in retail design shape the facility's layout and operations.
The centre marks a significant milestone for Jotun's customer experience expansion in Nigeria. It offers professionals a unique destination blending inspiration with practical service.
Gareth Alcock, general manager of Jotun MENA, confirmed plans for wider expansion. His company aims to support infrastructure development across the nation.
"Our expansion into Abuja, Lagos, and Port Harcourt improves access to high-performance coating solutions," Alcock told reporters. These moves cover key economic corridors, he explained.
Raising professional standards is part of the expansion strategy. Better quality and consistency in project delivery are expected outcomes.
Jotun Paints Nigeria now positions itself as a core infrastructure partner. It supplies quality solutions meeting global standards for durability, innovation, sustainability, and performance.
Located at 741A Akinbo Savage Street, off Adeola Hopewell Street, the facility features dedicated colour and design zones. Professionals gain practical insight into decorative, protective, marine, and flooring solutions here.
Applications covered range from residential to commercial and industrial projects. A technical advisory hub provides expert and personalised guidance on coating specifications.
