Colombian striker Jhon Duran is poised to leave Saudi Arabia's Al-Nassr and join Victor Osimhen at Turkish powerhouse Galatasaray this month. Ali Naci Küçük, a reporter who covers Galatasaray, revealed the surprise transfer move on the Dici Futbol YouTube channel.
Küçük disclosed that Galatasaray will officially announce Duran's signing during the first week of July. The deal has already been agreed, according to the journalist.
"Duran will come regardless of whether Icardi stays or leaves," Küçük told reporters. "Jhon Duran will be Galatasaray's first signing."
The 21-year-old previously spent time on loan at Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray's fierce Turkish Super Lig rivals. He'll now switch sides to join the Istanbul club's attacking ranks.
Duran is expected to form a formidable partnership with Nigerian international Osimhen up front for the upcoming season. The pair could prove a potent force in Turkish football and continental competitions.
