Nasarawa United will face Ikorodu City in Wednesday's President Federation Cup semi-final without midfielder Jofrank Istifanus. A groin injury has sidelined the player ahead of the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium encounter in Benin City.

Technical adviser Mbwas Mangut confirmed the absence at a pre-match briefing. He noted the squad has remained largely injury-free except for Istifanus.

"We have those who can make up for his absence," Mangut told reporters. His words suggested the team possessed adequate replacements for the midfielder.

Mangut promised his players would display full commitment on the pitch. According to him, the squad aims to make supporters proud across Nasarawa State and beyond.

Despite losing a key midfielder, Nasarawa United appears confident heading into the knockout clash. Ikorodu City awaits them on Wednesday.
