Governor AbdulRazaq Reaffirms Commitment to Public Welfare

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has reiterated that public welfare remains a top priority for the government, acknowledging the impact of inflation on the living standard of the people and provision of public services.

The Governor made this statement during a cabinet meeting where the state executive council approved upward reviews of contract sums for some road projects across the state.

The Governor’s commitment to public welfare is evident in the continuous cash awards to workers and other palliatives and support for different segments of the state.

This comes at a time when inflation is eroding the power of people across the world.

Governor AbdulRazaq’s administration has consistently supported and would continue to support the people as inflation erodes purchasing power.

During the cabinet meeting, the council approved the completion of some township roads, including the Banni township road (Kaiama); Ora township road (Ifelodun); Saint Claire’s Junction-Ikotun Road, Offa; and the Secretariat-Ubandawaki Road, Ilorin.

This move is aimed at improving the infrastructure and living standards of the people in these areas.

Governor AbdulRazaq’s commitment to public welfare and support for the people in the face of inflation is a commendable step towards improving the living standards of the people of Kwara State.

With the approval of the completion of some township roads, the government is taking a step in the right direction to address the needs of its citizens.
