Falala assumes duty as Kano NSCDC Commandant

Mr Muhammad Lawal-Falala, the newly deployed Kano Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), has assumed duty.

The Command’s Public Relations Officer,DSC Ibrahim Idris-Abdullahi, said this in a statement on Sunday in Kano.
He said Lawal-Falala took over from Mr Adamu Salihu,who had been redeployed to Taraba as state Commandant.
He said until his deployment to Kano State Command, Lawal-Falala worked in various units of the Corps Finance and Account Directorate and ACG Finance as PA office of the Accountant General of the Federation (AGF) among others.

He said the new Commandant was an indigene of Zamfara and a graduate of Bayero University Kano with Msc Degree in Accounting and Finance.

He also attended different courses in Nigeria and overseas in addition to being a recepiant of many awards.
Idris-Abdullahi said the Commandant solicited for the support and cooperation of the personnel to achieve the desired result of tackling security challenges, as well as to protect and safeguard all critical national assets and infrastructure in the state.

“The Commandant has deployed personnel in the state to ensure peaceful May 29 swearing-in ceremony of the Governor-elect,” Idris-Abdullahi said.
