Simisola Fajemirokun-Ajayi, an APC House of Representatives hopeful in Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo/Odigbo, is pushing for inclusive governance. She made the call as Nigeria celebrated Democracy Day on Friday.

In a statement from Abuja, the aspirant stressed that true democracy serves ordinary people. Market women, youths, farmers, artisans, teachers and entrepreneurs all deserve responsive leaders, she said.

According to her, Nigerians have shown remarkable resilience in defending democracy over the years. Citizens' participation in governance and calls for accountability have kept the system alive, she noted.

Fajemirokun-Ajayi commended residents of her constituency for embracing democratic values. She believes communities thrive when people actively shape their own future.

She's calling for a Nigeria built on inclusion and equal opportunity. Effective leadership, she argued, is what will truly drive national development.

The aspirant also prayed for steady progress across her constituency, Ondo State and Nigeria. She wants prosperity to reach every corner of the nation.
