Ekiti CP decorates 8 newly promoted officers, tasks them on dedication to duty

The Commissioner of Police in Ekiti, Mr Ogundare Dare has decorated eight newly promoted officers of the Command.

 

The CP decorated the officers, four Chief Superintendent  of Police and four Assistant Superintendent of Police, in his office on Wednesday in Ado-Ekiti.

 

Speaking at the ceremony, Dare urged the promoted officers to see the elevation as additional responsibility and a further call to the service of the nation and humanity.

 

He implored them to be good ambassadors of the Nigeria Police Force and ensure they acquaint themselves with the rules of engagement of their new ranks.

Responding on behalf of the promoted officers, CSP Kolade Sunday, thanked the Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba, for considering them worthy of the new ranks.

He said that the promotion would further serve as a morale booster to  do more in performing their duties of protection of lives and properties of the citizens.

Kolade  also thanked CP Ogundare Dare and other senior officers for their support.

The officers promoted and decorated are: CSP Kolade  Sunday, CSP Babalola Reuben, CSP Olutayo Ilori, CSP Mustapha Musa, ASP Gabriel Ggasanmi, ASP Victoria Falade, ASP Olounda Samuel and ASP Taiwo Gbadamodlsi.
