EFCC Arrests Six Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Akwa Ibom

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested six suspected internet fraudsters in Akwa Ibom State.

The EFCC apprehended the suspects on the Calabar-Itu road in Uyo LGA on Thursday, October 5, 2023.

The Commission said the arrest was part of its efforts to curb the menace of cybercrime in the country.

The EFCC identified the suspects as Udenze Benjamin, Godwin Atike, Emmanuel Francis, Adebe Oluwademilade, Anietie Brownson, and Sabastin Obioma. They will face the court once the investigations are done.
