By Angela James,

Pastor Solomon Oshodin

Edo State Chairman of the All Grassroot Alliance, AGA, Pastor Osarunmwense Solomon Oshodin has called on the electorate to come out en-mass and vote for Mr. Godwin Obaseki and his deputy, Rt. Hon. Philip Shuaibu of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in the September 19th governorship election in Edo State.

Oshodin made this call while speaking to pressmen at his State Secretariat in Benin.

He stated that before INEC deregistration of his party he was a governorship aspirant under his party which gained support nationally and internationally.

Oshodin stressed that his alliance and support for Mr. Godwin Obaseki of the PDP still stands even with the recent judgement by the court restoring political parties that were deregistered.

” My party’s alliance and support for Obaseki in the State still stands and I have collapsed my structures to join him in his reelection bid. Come September 19th, myself and my supporters will massively vote for him and his deputy “.

Oshodin who described Obaseki as a “performing governor” pointed out that he has performed marvellously well hence he has to be reelected so he can consolidate on his developmental strides in the State.

” Obaseki has performed well, look at the Gelegele project, Edobest and the modular refinery even in the area of agriculture and roads. He has done well. The road to my house has been constructed and I believe he will do more if given the opportunity. Obaseki has redefined governance and had taken development in the State to a new level. He should be given the mandate”.

He advised youths to avoid being used for electoral malpractices and thuggery noting that the candidates involved in the election have signed a peace accord which clearly sends a message that there is life after the election.
