Edo 2024: Oshiomhole’s Alleged Secret Support for PDP’s Ighodalo

In a surprising twist to the Edo 2024 gubernatorial race, a retired police commissioner and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State has accused former Governor Adams Oshiomhole of secretly working to ensure the victory of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Asuen Ighodalo, in the September 2024 election.

According to the APC chieftain, Oshiomhole is allegedly collaborating with incumbent Governor Godwin Obaseki and Ighodalo to govern the state one after the other.

The allegations come as a shock to many, as Oshiomhole is a prominent member of the APC and previously served as the Governor of Edo State for two terms.

The accusations have sparked heated debates among political analysts and the public, with many questioning the motives behind Oshiomhole’s alleged support for the opposition party.

Some have speculated that this could be a strategic move to strengthen his political influence in the state, while others believe it may be a result of internal conflicts within the APC.

As the election draws closer, it remains to be seen whether these allegations will have an impact on the outcome.

The Edo 2024 gubernatorial race promises to be an intriguing contest, as the political landscape continues to shift and evolve.
