Kubeyinje Otis Ayodeji, known professionally as DJ Timmy, has publicly accused singer Timi Dakolo of owing him money. The disc jockey posted on Instagram on Friday, detailing how Dakolo had asked him a month earlier to delete a previous post about the debt, promising to settle the amount.
DJ Timmy gave Dakolo until Monday, 20th to transfer the funds into his account. He warned that failure to pay would result in him exposing what he called Dakolo's "sexcapades" and "little adventures in Lagos" to the singer's wife.
"Today is Friday and Wednesday makes it one month exactly you begged me to archive my post and still Timi Dakolo hasn't paid us back," he wrote in the post.
The disc jockey's threat escalated his warning, saying: "If by Monday 20th, the money doesn't hit our account, get ready to explain your sexcapades to your wife and all your little adventures in Lagos."
The social media post has triggered mixed reactions online, with observers ranging from finding humour in the situation to expressing genuine concern. The public dispute between the two figures has generated significant engagement across platforms.
As of the time of this report, there's been no public response from Dakolo addressing the allegations or DJ Timmy's ultimatum.
