Nigerian musician Bella Shmurda has gone public about losing $4 million to a real estate fraud scheme in Lagos state. During an Instagram live session, he revealed he discovered the property he purchased didn't actually belong to the seller.

The artiste explained that the person who sold him the house vanished immediately after completing the transaction. He said he's already engaged his lawyer to investigate the matter and recover his funds.

"I've got nothing left," Bella told his followers in a distressed tone. "Nigeria, I need your help.

I am not okay right now."

He detailed how the entire amount came from years of hard work in the music industry. "I lost $4 million of my hard earned money to buy stolen property," he stated during the live broadcast.

The musician appealed to Nigerians and potential benefactors to assist him in this crisis. "The seller has disappeared.

Please, help me. Someone steps in.

I just contacted my lawyer for further investigation," he pleaded.

Bella's case highlights the persistent problem of property fraud in Nigeria's real estate sector. Experts often warn buyers to conduct thorough due diligence before making large investments in property.
