France head coach Didier Deschamps has called on his squad, led by captain Kylian Mbappe, to maintain humility ahead of their World Cup Round of 32 clash against Sweden later today. Deschamps warned his players that the Swedish side will leave nothing on the pitch in their knockout battle.

"Sweden are not playing for survival," he told reporters. "They will obviously do everything to win, but they have nothing to lose."

The French boss stressed the need for his team to stay grounded despite their status as favourites. "We need to stay humble, maintain our determination and concentration," Deschamps said.

The victor in this encounter will secure passage to the Round of 16 stage of the tournament. Sweden will present a stern test for the European giants in what promises to be a tightly contested knockout fixture.
