Delta CP charges officers to improve on their professional capacity

Delta State Commissioner of Police, Mustafa Mahammed, has advised police officers in the State to improve on their professional capacity, that only those who develop themselves will get satisfaction from the job and benefits from the police authority.

The Delta police boss stated this while addressing officers and men of the Sapele Area Command on his maiden visit to the command said; “Police officers should be professionally confident and be dedicated to the job.

“Those men and women out there are learning new tricks every day, so we must work to improve ways of doing the job, so that we won’t be left behind.

“You must learn to be a step ahead of these criminals, then you will not only are developing yourself, but you will also grow in the job.”

He also solicited media support to ensure balanced reportage of the force activities and ensuring peace and stability in the state.

Earlier, the Sapele Area Commander, ACP Mamman Rijau who expressed appreciation to the police boss, listed patrol vehicle, inadequacy of personnel, arms and ammunitions, as some of the challenges facing the command, calling on the people of the area to continue to give the police relevant information in order for it to discharge its duties accordingly.

The CP also visited the Sapele Local Government council boss, Hon Eugene Inoaghan Okpeh and was hosted by the Sapele Okpe Community and the Vigilante Group.
