The African Democratic Congress (ADC), Delta State Chapter, has inaugurated its State Coalition Committee, pledging unity, grassroots mobilization, and strategic collaboration ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The inauguration, held under the leadership of State Chairman, Engr. Austine C. Okolie, brought together representatives of all coalition partners, who were formally inducted after taking the Oath of Allegiance administered by the State Legal Adviser’s representative, Mr. Richard Modunkwu.
Okolie, in his keynote address, stressed that the committee will strengthen cooperation without disrupting the existing party structure. “ADC in Delta State must integrate all coalition partners. We are determined, we are focused, and we will not tolerate any form of anti-party activity,” he declared.
Committee leaders echoed the call for unity. Finance Chairman, Mr. Anthony Omonigho, pledged loyalty to the party, while Publicity Chairman, Bishop Obiajulu, charged members to work diligently, assuring that “with collective effort, ADC will emerge victorious in 2027.”
Speaking for the women, Mrs. Chiwe Ejodor promised robust mobilization, describing ADC as “the only way forward for Delta State and Nigeria.” Apostle Ebi Amos Peremene hailed the coalition as a “step in the right direction,” and Hon. Dr. Nkadi Okocha vowed that “all hands will be on deck to deliver results.”
The inauguration was described as a milestone for the party, marking what leaders say is a new chapter of integration, unity, and grassroots strength to position ADC as a formidable force in Delta State politics.
