Delta 2019:Ibori to lead Urhobo nation to victory -Oghenesivbe

…Says Gov Okowa is Urhobo agenda, not Ogboru

By Ovasa Ogaga,

Executive Assistant on Communications  to the Governor of Delta State, Dr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, has said that the Governor, Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa is the consensus gubernatorial candidate of Urhobo Nation as earlier pronounced by the former governor of the State and Urhobo Nation, National Political Leader, Chief James Onanefe Ibori.

He reechoed this clarification while speaking to newsmen over the weekend at the country home of Chief Ibori in Oghara, the political capital of Delta State.
Oghenesivbe noted those supporting Chief Great Ogboru in Delta Central are in the minority, especially on social media, adding that the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate and 2015 Labour Party (LP) candidate has diminished drastically in terms of popularity rating and electoral value.

He stated further that PDP Delta Central Campaign Committee strategic meeting held in Oghara, rekindled the collective resolve of Urhobo sons and daughters in politics to queue behind their national political leader, Chief James Ibori to garner resounding victories for Gov Okowa, its senatorial candidate, Hon Evelyn Oboro and other candidates.

“We came to learn some electioneering lessons from our national leader and Statesman, H.E. Ibori, and the  strategic electioneering tutorials received here today especially on the need for Urhobo Nation to support and vote Gov Okowa for second tenure is to say the least, the best of political modules. The game plan has not changed, its Okowa Again 2019.

“The special briefing ignited several standing ovations. All PDP candidates in Delta Central were present and took their turn to have privileged interface with Leader Ibori, Prof. Sam Oyovbaire, State Party Chairman, Okakuro Kingsley Esiso, Delta Central PDP Campaign Committee Chairman, Olorogun Fred Majemite, Delta Central PDP Chairman, Chief Fovie, Hon Sunny Emeyese and other stakeholders.
“Leader Ibori again emphasised the need for the ongoing power rotation to go in full circle by mobilizing all eligible voters to cast their votes for PDP, Gov Okowa and all candidates within the political family of Urhobo Nation ably led by Chief Ibori.

“Ogboru is now history in Urhobo Nation and Delta central politics. He is not in this election to win as can be seen from his crashed reputation, irritating political track records of abysmal failures and for the fact that his private companies are in huge bad debts alleged to be over N30 billion, obtained as loans from over 18 commercial banks in Nigeria.

“Ogboru personally alienated himself from political relevance right from when he returned from exile and it remained so to this present day because he failed to be led before becoming a leader.

“He (Ogboru) carried the mindset of a coup plotter hence he nicknamed himself as ‘The Peoples General.’ This archaic and local leadership mentality contributed to the gross abysmal failures of the self acclaimed Peoples General; and can only be resurrected by submitting himself to the political leadership of Chief Ibori.

“It is obvious that the shameful debt profile of Chief Ogboru and his moribund companies are enough reasons why the good people of Delta State, considered Ogboru’s repeated hunger to become governor as an avenue to free himself, associates and his family from the heavy yoke of mismanaged bank loans and other hidden debts.

“Urhobo Nation political leadership under Chief Ibori is solidly behind Gov Okowa, Hon Evelyn Ibori for Senate, and other PDP House of Representatives and State House of Assembly candidates, such that it shall be much easier for the head of a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for Chief Ogboru and APC to win any seat in Delta central, come 2019,” Oghenesivbe said.
