Davido wore a powerful message to the FIFA World Cup Countdown Concert in Los Angeles on Wednesday night. The Nigerian superstar's custom jacket displayed the names of 39 abducted children and seven teachers from Oriire Local Government Area in Oyo State.

"Bring Them Home" was emblazoned across the back of his outfit. He showcased the jacket repeatedly while performing his smash hit "Fall" to amplify their plight.

The move marks his second public push for the captives' release. Previously, he'd called on authorities via social media to act faster on the rescue mission.

According to Davido, Nigeria's security crisis demands urgent attention. He stressed that the abductions cannot be allowed to persist unchecked.

Across the border in Mexico, Grammy winner Burna Boy is set for the FIFA World Cup Opening Ceremony. He'll perform alongside Shakira, with whom he was featured on the official 2026 World Cup track "Dia Dia."

Nigerian artist Rema also has a spot on the bill. She'll share the Los Angeles opening ceremony stage with Lisa and other international acts.
