Convocation: Lalong, three others bag honorary doctorate degrees

Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBBUL) has awarded honorary doctorate degrees on Gov. Simon Lalong of Plateau and three other prominent Nigerians
The degrees will be conferred on the recipients during the forthcoming 4th Combined Convocation of 6,154 graduands on Saturday.
The Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Abu Kasim-Adamu, stated this  while addressing newsmen on the combined convocation at the University Guest House on Tuesday  in Minna.
According to him, Lalong will be honoured with Honorary Doctorate Degree of Administration (Honoris Causa).
Retired Col. Sani Bello, Chairman, Mainstream Energy Solutions, will receive the Honorary Doctorate Degree of Humane Letters (Honoris Causa).
Malam Ibrahim Aliyu, Chairman, Aliyu Trust Foundation gets the Honorary Doctorate Degree of Entrepreneurship Development (Honoris Causa)
 Also Alhaji AbdulSamad Isyaka Rabiu, Chairman BUA Group, will bag the Honorary Doctorate Degree of Business Management (Honoris Causa).
He explained that out of 6,154 graduating students, under graduate Programme had 5,719, while post graduate had 435.
“The best student for 2019/2020 session is Miss Aisha Mohammed with a CGPA of 4.85 from Faculty of Agriculture in the Department of Animal Production.
“While the best student in 2020/2021 is Miss Aisha Ketso of Department of Sociology, Faculty of Social Sciences with a CGPA of 4.81” he said.
