Cleric tasks Christians on self development

Self-development

Rev. Tajan Moltok, the Jos Resident Pastor of Shepherd House Assembly International, has tasked Christians on self development.

He said that this would enhance their relevance in their careers, vocation and businesses.

The cleric made the call during his church sermon titled “the Mystery of God’s hands” on Sunday in Jos.

He said that self development would also boost Believers’ progress and access to more opportunities.

He added that the competence and consistency acquired would make them more outstanding.

He admonished Christians not to be discouraged or depressed when rejected for jobs, businesses or relationships but seek self improvement.

“When men reject you, do not reject yourself but develop and build up your self and contribute to the well being of your family.

“Deal with your character and never be desperate for anything or else people will not value you,” he said.

He urged the congregants to imbibe integrity in their interactions to ensure a good name which is necessary for expansion in their livelihoods, saying ‘let people know you for your word’.

Moltok said that education and smartness were not the only basis for progress but also God assistance through his mercy to believers saying ‘When you walk before God, he will expand your covenant from you to your children.“

He prayed for the hand of God for the congregants, saying that His capacity cannot be limited as He works in diverse ways and fights every resistance.
