BUA Cement Reduces Price To N3,500 Per Bag

BUA Cement Plc, Nigeria’s number two cement producer, has lowered the price of its cement products by 12.5% per 50-kg bag, from N4,000 to N3,500, effective from the first day of October 2023.

The company said the price cut was part of its efforts to support the federal government’s drive to bridge the infrastructure deficit in the country.

The Chairman of BUA Cement, Abdul Samad Rabiu, said the company was committed to making cement affordable and accessible to Nigerians, especially at a time when the country was facing economic challenges and infrastructural gaps.

Rabiu also commended the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC) for its role in facilitating and regulating public-private partnerships (PPPs) in the infrastructure sector.

The Director-General of the ICRC, Chidi Izuwah, who was present at the announcement, praised BUA Cement for its contribution to the development of the Nigerian economy and the improvement of the living standards of the people.
