Bayelsa United build Continental Cup Confidence with a 4-1 thrashing of Sunsel Fc

Bayelsa United thrashed Sunsel Fc 4-1 in a preparatory match to build her confidence ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup first preliminary one-legged clash against the Ashanti Golden Boys of Guinea this Sunday at the Samson Siasia Stadium.

The Restoration Boys conclude the first half with three unreplied goals and made it four with a direct free kick in the first quarter of the second half before Sunday Dansu 77th minutes superb strike earn Sunsel Fc a consolation goal to wrap up the game.

Coach of Bayelsa United Diepreye Teibowei commend the young players of Sunsel Fc and said the game will also help him to strengthen his strategy against the Guinea visitors.

“This is a good game and it will help me to strategies better even with the rain”.

While coach of Sunsel Fc Destiny Isaac admitted that Bayelsa United are far better side as he expressed confidence that the Restoration Boys will win convincingly if they improve their game going by the quality of players they have.

“It is a good lesson received from this friendly match even though my boys just resume camping a few weeks ago”.
