Barau FC have kept 21 players on their roster for the upcoming 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League campaign, the club announced after meeting with its technical team.
Leading the retained squad are Emeka Nwabulu, Chisom Chiaha, Oscar Destiny and Sugau Aliyu. The Maliya Boys also kept Bismark Duah, Usman Maidubuji, Henry Ezeonye, Chisom Nkwocha and Orji Kalu.
Jimmy Ambrose, Nura Muhammad, Moses Tsehuan, Sa'ad Tijjani, Ebuka Nwokorie, Sunday Anthony, Hillary Ekawu, Joseph Atule, Adamu Hussaini, Ibrahim Yunusa, Uche Moses and Stanley Oganbor completed the list of players staying put.
The club plans to recruit additional players before the new season kicks off. The NPFL campaign will begin on Friday, 28 August, 2026.
