Atiku seeks to overturn PEPC verdict at Supreme Court

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 general election, Abubakar Atiku, has filed an appeal at the Supreme Court, seeking to overturn the verdict of the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) that upheld the victory of President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Atiku and his party are challenging the ruling of the PEPC on 35 grounds, alleging that the court erred in law and reached the wrong conclusion when it dismissed their petition challenging the outcome of the presidential election.
