Senator Ede Dafinone, representing Delta Central Senatorial District, has congratulated the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Chief Barrister Festus Keyamo, SAN, on his 56th birthday, describing him as a public servant whose life exemplifies courage, conviction and unwavering service to Nigeria.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the senator hailed the minister’s personal and professional journey, noting that Keyamo’s birthday was “not just a celebration of age, but of a life marked by courage, conviction, and unwavering service to our great nation.”
Dafinone recalled Keyamo’s rise from the legal profession to the centre of national politics, saying his career has “always inspired respect.” He noted that as a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and public office holder, the minister has “consistently stood firm for justice, accountability, and the rule of law, even when it came at personal cost,” adding that his “clarity of purpose and fearlessness have set him apart in public life.”
Commending his performance in government, the senator said he has watched “with pride” as Keyamo brings “energy, discipline, and reform-driven leadership to a critical sector of our economy” as Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development. According to him, the minister’s emphasis on “safety, efficiency, and institutional renewal" underscores his belief “that Nigeria can and must work for its people.”
Dafinone further conveyed goodwill messages from Delta Central, wishing the minister “good health, long life, and renewed strength,” while expressing confidence that the years ahead would bring “greater accomplishments, deeper fulfillment, and continued impact.”
He noted that Festus Keyamo’s public service has been defined by “passion and integrity,” qualities he said would continue to guide the minister as he serves the nation.
