Anglican Primate Urges President Tinubu to Act Quickly to Ease Hardship on Nigerians

The Primate of the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, Most Rev. Dr. Henry Ndukuba, has called on President Bola Tinubu to take swift action to alleviate the increasing hardship faced by Nigerians across the country.

The appeal was made during the funeral service for the late former governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, at the Cathedral Church of Saint Andrew in Owo, Ondo State.

Represented by the Anglican Bishop of Ikwerre, Rivers State, Ndukuba emphasized the urgency of the situation and urged President Tinubu to prioritize efforts to mitigate the biting economic challenges.

He stated, “May I, on behalf of Nigerians, pray and call on the President, Senator Bola Tinubu, to do something to reduce the hardship faced by Nigerians.

We are waiting and expecting the fulfillment of our renewed hope.”

The Anglican Primate further added, “We have the hope he would do it because he promised us renewed hope, and according to him, it is his turn, so the turn and opportunity have been given to him now.

We plead with him to do it fast because time is running out.”

The Anglican Primate’s call for President Tinubu to act quickly in easing the hardship faced by Nigerians highlights the importance of addressing the economic challenges faced by the nation.

It is hoped that the President will heed the call and take swift action to improve the lives of the Nigerian people.
