Ambode Urges Unity and Courage in Tackling Nigeria’s Economic Challenges

In a leadership colloquium hosted by the Akinjide Adeosun Foundation (AAF), former Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode, addressed the current economic hardship in Nigeria and its potential solutions.

Emphasizing the need for a united front, Ambode stated that the country’s issues are not solely the responsibility of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, but rather a long-standing problem that requires a courageous leader to resolve.

During the event titled “Economic Asphyxiation – The Wisdom of Authentic Leaders,” Ambode highlighted the importance of facing Nigeria’s problems head-on and finding solutions.

He encouraged the public to stop the blame game and work together for a common cause – the betterment of Nigeria.

The former Governor stressed the significance of self-reliance in addressing the economic challenges, particularly in terms of food security.

Ambode pointed out that authentic leadership involves emotional intelligence and understanding the frustration of the followers.

He emphasized that leaders must stand in front and show confidence in the future, even when the situation appears challenging.

He also underlined the importance of empathy and addressing the security issues that have plagued the nation.

IAmbode’s message to the Nigerian people is to think outside the box and unite for a common cause.

He believes that with a courageous leader like President Tinubu and the support of the people, Nigeria can overcome its economic hardship and emerge stronger.
