The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna, on Saturday, September 27, held the Passing Out Parade (POP) for cadets of the 72 Regular Course as part of its 35th Convocation Ceremony.
The colourful parade, staged at the Academy Parade Ground, Afaka, was attended by Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Senator Ned Munir Nwoko, and other distinguished lawmakers.
Earlier in the week, on Thursday, September 25, more than 2,600 graduands were honoured during the convocation ceremony, which conferred academic degrees on 72 Regular Course cadet officers and 2,546 postgraduate students.
Saturday’s Passing Out Parade formally commissioned the cadets as officers of the Nigerian Armed Forces, marking the conclusion of years of rigorous academic and military training.
