Karim Adeyemi has revealed who inspires him most at his new club Barcelona. The 24-year-old German winger named Lionel Messi and Ronaldinho as his two idols during his unveiling on Thursday.
"For me, it's a unique opportunity," Adeyemi said at the ceremony. "My role models and idols at Barça are Messi and also Ronaldinho, although there are many others," he added.
Adeyemi penned a contract keeping him at Camp Nou until 2031. The forward arrives after a mixed season with Borussia Dortmund, where he struggled to make a consistent impact.
Last term, he netted 10 goals and created six assists across 39 matches in all competitions for the German club. Barcelona moved to secure the youngster despite his underwhelming campaign in the Bundesliga.
