REJOINDER: Chief Felix Anirah’s followers didn’t dump him and has never pledged their Loyalty to Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege

Some few days ago, the media was awashed by the news of some low minds and faceless persons purportedly claiming to be members of the All Progressives​ Congress (APC) that were initially loyal to Chief Anirah and has now pledged their loyalty to Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege. Ordinarily, it is not in our tradition to engage in the media with such loquacious and ingrate faceless persons, however, since it is a direct attack on d amiable, sterling and indefatigable character of our respected leader in the person of Chief (Hon.) Felix Anirah, it behoves on me and the entire political family of Chief Anirah to put the record straight.

Firstly, there is no iota of truth going round in the social and print media as being peddled by some squalous, pitiable, unfit, unstable, mischievous and disgruntled elements of the APC led by the person of Mike Pemu, Famous Sagay, Elvis Ayomanor, Tonuka and particularly the Urhobo All Progressives​, a Facebook group being sponsored from information within our disposal by Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege, that Chief Anirah contacted its correspondent(s) concerning his defection back to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the political party or political family which Chief Anirah originally belongs to. As a matter of fact, the said correspondent of the APC has by its publication, revealed to the world that its APC officers either at the local govt level in Sapele or that of Delta State are inept and incompetent to lead its party. Also, the reference to Elvis Ayomanor as one of the reasons why Chief Anirah  left the APC is out of place, because Elvis Ayomanor is known as an unstable character who usually speaks from both sides of his mouth; he has never win an election before talkless of winning his Unit or Ward or the Local Government Elections. To this end, we believe that, it is the fear of the unknown and the impending landslide defeat of the APC in the Sapele Constituency, Delta Central Senatorial District and Delta State at large that is putting the said divided camp or unstable loyalist of Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege to be seeking for relevance through media propaganda to gain negative political publicity. In such, it is public knowledge that the return or defection of Chief Anirah to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has shaken, broken and destroyed the very foundation of the APC and his cohorts particularly in the Delta Central Senatorial District and Delta State at large since more than 5,000 of its APC members has dumped the party known for its comatose policies, insensitivity to the security of lives of Nigerians and the fractured governance which has plagued the entire land space of Nigeria thereby putting its citizenry into economic hardship, financial upheavals and unwarranted attack on law abiding citizens due to the activities of herdsmen as a result of the inept and incompetent APC led federal government.

Secondly, we view with dismay the alleged and unfounded story by the parasites of the APC that Chief Anirah was offered the House of Assembly slot for 2019 to enable him defect back to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). This is a figment of imagination​ of the jolted and pauperized APC members since they know that with Chief Anirah’s defection back to the PDP, the APC cannot win any elections again either in the Sapele Constituency or Delta State at large. Furthermore, there was never a time Chief Anirah together with our distinguished and dynamic leader “Chief (Barr.) Kingsley Esiso” (the Delta State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP) ever discussed issues relating to Chief Monday Igbuya, concerning Chief Anirah’s defection back to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as alleged or misconceived by the disunited and disgruntled elements of the APC. In such, over the years, Chief Felix Anirah and Chief Monday Igbuya has being in the same PDP family working for the progress of the party notwithstanding their differences when it comes to issues of great importance within the PDP and the welfare of its members. Interestingly, it is due to the pragmatic and polish charisma of Chief Anirah, that is why His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, the Executive Governor of Delta State, took it upon himself to witness the defection of Chief Anirah and over 5,000 members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Sapele and its environs back to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) since the PDP has proven to Deltans and Nigerians that it is the only gateway to total transformation and progress of Deltans and Nigerians and the only party that can liberate Deltans and Nigerians from the myriads of economic hardship and instability of our polity visited upon Nigerians as a result of the failed and skewed leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC). It is our belief that as a result of the All Progressives Congress (APC) abysmal failures in the general polity of Nigerians, come 2019, the APC will go into  eternal oblivion politically in our great country Nigeria.

Finally, may we also use this medium to thank His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, the Executive Governor of Delta State, for finding time to grace the occasion of Chief (Hon.) Felix Anirah’s defection back to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). We pray that may the Almighty God continue to strengthen His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, the Executive​ Governor of Delta State and give him the wisdom to pilot the affairs of Delta State to greater heights. We also congratulate and  thank the ever dynamic Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Delta State Chairman “Chief (Barr.) Kingsley Esiso, for his brotherly support and encouragement in ensuring that Chief Felix Anirah return back to the family of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the party which he originally belongs to. Also, we thank all government functionaries, leaders of the PDP in Sapele Local Government Area and that of Delta State together with the great supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), for the warm reception accorded Chief Anirah and his teeming supporters back to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
