Waive’s aspiration receives a boost; Urhobo Christian Ministers adopt him as their candidate

The aspiration of Rev. Francis Ejiroghene Waive to run for House of Representative, Ughelli North / Ughelli South and Udu Federal Constituency on Wednesday receives a boost as Urhobo Christian Ministers Association, UCMA, endorsed him.

The Bishop of Sapele Diocese, Anglican Communion, Rt Rev Dr Blessing Erifeta, 3rd from lift, Rev Francis Waive and Arch Bishop Solomon Gbakara, during at meeting of Urhobo Christian Ministers Association held at Osubi.

In a unanimous declaration on Wednesday, November 29, at a meeting held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church Osubi, the Urhobo Christian Ministers Association, UCMA, adopted Rev. Francis Ejiroghene Waive as their sole candidates for the Ughelli North, Ughelli South and Udu Federal Constituency come 2019.

The ministers, who also lamented poor representation by greedy and wicked politicians over the past years, noted that the only people who can correct and bring sanity to the Nigerian political system are the Christians.

They therefore promised to mobilised all their members and ensure Rev. Francis Waive is voted into the Lower chamber to bring the desired change and effective representation of the Urhobo nation at the national politics.

Present at the clergies meeting are the Bishop of Sapele Diocese, Anglican Communion, Rt Rev Dr Blessing Erifeta, Arch Bishop Solomon Gbakara, Bishop Victor Arikoro, Bishop Nathan Madeyi, Bishop Emuobor, Bishop Arhavwarien, Rt Rev Dr Moses Erhuvwu, Bishop Willie, Bishop Patrick Okoh, Rev Ejaromedoghene, Rev Israel Unutame and others.
