All is now set for the commencement of academic activities at Bellarks Polytechnic Kwale, Ndokwa West local government area of Delta State, as the institution has been accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).

The School, in a statement signed by the registrar, Mr. Ayeni Ayotade indicates that the Polytechnic is now opened and admission is in progress, just as 5 courses have been approved by the National Board for Technical Education.

According to Ayeni, the 5 courses available are ND Computer Engineering Technology, ND Electrical and Electronic Engineering, ND Business Administration and Management, ND Statistics and ND Computer Science.

The statement added that Bellarks polytechnics have a modern library, workshops and laboratories, 24hrs electricity, lecture halls and fully equipped I.C.T hall, comparable to world-class educational institutes.

He maintained that, research efforts, creative innovations directed towards skill acquisition for self-reliance to address increasing unemployment, through quality teaching, learning to produce diplomats and entrepreneurs has been provided.

The institution located in a serene environment is set to provide sound character formation and self-discipline of the students, just as entrepreneurial skills needed by the students to become employers of labour will be learned.

The statement also added that they will develop talents and skills of students in various sporting activities that will enable them to participate effectively both locally and international.

He stressed that Bellarks polytechnic is set to engage in international collaboration with an educational institution for excellence, integrity, self – control and discipline, pace – setting, leadership by example, good stewardship and institutional patriotism.
