The people of Ozoro and Otor-Owhe Kingdoms in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State have thrown their weight behind Sir (Builder) Blessing Oghale Obomovo, a real estate developer and CEO of Standout Properties Limited, endorsing him as their preferred candidate for the Isoko Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The endorsement was announced on Tuesday during a well-attended gathering at Opute Hall in Ozoro, where political leaders, traditional authorities, women groups, and youth representatives converged in a show of unity to receive Obomovo. Participants at the event described the development as a reflection of broad-based support across different segments of the community.

Obomovo, an All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirant with roots in both Otor-Owhe and Ozoro Kingdoms, received backing from the five blocs of Ozoro—Uroto, Erovie, Etevie, Urude, and Orumudhe—who collectively expressed support for his aspiration. Speakers at the event commended his decision to contest and expressed optimism about his capacity to represent the constituency effectively.

The endorsement also drew support from community leaders and institutions, including representatives of the palace, the Ozoro Progressive Union, women and youth groups, who indicated readiness to mobilize grassroots backing. Speaking on behalf of the community, the President-General of the Ozoro Progressive Union, Berkley Asiafa, noted that the decision reflects a shared commitment to advancing the collective interests of the area.

In his remarks, Obomovo expressed appreciation for the show of support from both his maternal and paternal communities, describing it as a call to service. He assured stakeholders of his commitment to inclusive representation and pledged to work closely with leaders and constituents if given the opportunity, while urging continued unity and cooperation as the political process unfolds.
