As Senator Ned Nwoko positions for a return to the National Assembly, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Emmanuel Eboh, has advised against divisive political contests, noting that they could affect unity and development in Delta North Senatorial District.

Speaking in Abuja, Eboh, a former commissioner in Delta State, said Senator Nwoko continues to enjoy significant goodwill across Delta North, popularly known as Anioma. While affirming that political aspirations remain a legitimate part of democracy, he cautioned against tendencies that may shift focus away from collective interest and inclusive leadership.

He called on residents of Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency and the wider district to prioritise unity and the common good, urging stakeholders to support leadership choices that will sustain peace and progress in the area.

Eboh noted that Nwoko’s performance in office has been impactful, citing his interventions in rural road construction, electrification, education, potable water supply, and empowerment initiatives. He also commended the senator’s advocacy for the recognition and identity of Anioma, describing it as a significant contribution to the district’s political development.

According to him, “Senator Nwoko has met expectations in many respects and remains focused on his legislative responsibilities, which are central to good governance.”

He added that the senator is widely regarded as a leader who promotes unity and development across Anioma, encouraging constituents to sustain their support while maintaining a peaceful political environment.

Eboh also called for continued support for Sheriff Oborevwori and Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections, emphasising the importance of stability and continuity in governance.
