Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Burutu Constituency II, Tuomo Ward 3, have unanimously endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, and Hon. Pereotu Oloye as their preferred candidate for the 2027 elections.
The adoption took place at a well-attended meeting in Tuomo Town, Burutu Local Government Area, on Sunday, September 7, 2025, where Elder Godsday Orubebe was also declared the party’s National Leader.
Moving the motion, Orubebe said: “Today, I’m moving a motion that our Honourable member, representing Burutu II Constituency, Hon. Pereotu Oloye, we are adopting him for 2027. We are adopting our governor, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori. We are adopting our President, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for 2027. That is my motion, I so submit.”
The motion was seconded by Chief Mike Loyibo (aka the Prime Minister), who commended the trio: “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, and Hon. Pereotu Oloye are doing very well, and they deserve our full support.”
Burutu Local Government Council Chairman, Hon. Dr. Julius Takeme, then put the motion to a vote, which was met with thunderous approval and a resounding chorus of “ayes” from APC members present.
The gathering also featured the former Coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Dr. Kingsley Kuku, who attended in solidarity with Burutu APC members.
