2023: We Are Looking At Margin Of Votes – Onyeme

THE large turnout of prospective voters at Wards visited by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, was clear evidence that the party would get the votes of Nigerians in the 2023 general elections, Deputy Governorship Candidate of the party in Delta State, Chief Monday Onyeme, has said.

Addressing the voters in Oshimili South Local Government Area, on Tuesday, Chief Onyeme, observed that Deltans have shown by their actions that they are in love with PDP.

He said, “with the turnout of people at all the places we have visited, Nigerians, especially, Deltans have proven that they will vote for all the candidates of the party, the umbrella political party.

“We are blessed in PDP, with your vote, our Governor is going to emerge as Vice-President, with your vote, our Speaker at the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori will become Governor and I will become the Deputy Governor.

“Prince Ned Nwoko, who you know very well is going to be our Senator, our Minority Leader at House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, will go back to represent us and your daughter, Barr. Bridget Anyafulu will go to the Delta State House of Assembly.

“Or are we not going to vote for PDP? (the people chorused, “PDP all-the-way.)

“So, we shall vote PDP all-the-way; we need to mobilize our people to vote so that the vote margin is high.’

Prince Ned Nwoko, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu and Barr. Bridget Anyafulu, emphatically listed what the PDP has done and what they will do in the future.

Some of those who spoke during the rallies, include Chief Ejiofor Onyia, Rt. Hon. Peter Onwusanya, Hon. Smart Meka, among others, assured that the PDP was on ground and will deliver 100 percent votes for PDP candidates in the elections.

Chairman, PDP, Delta North, Elder Moses Iduh, thanked the people for mobilizing for the party and asked them to reach out to all those that have voters cards to ensure that all the votes are for PDP candidates.

Deputy Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ochor Christopher Ochor, Chief Godwill Obielum, and Chief Nkem Okwuofu, were among the personalities who attended the ceremonies.
