Nigerian Youth Parliament applauds Obaseki for youth-friendly initiatives in the State

 Edo State Caucus of the Nigerian Youth Parliament under the Caucus Leader and Minority Leader of the Nigerian Youth Parliament, Hon Daniel Uwadia on Thursday, applauded Gov. Godwin Obaseki for his giant strides in Youth Development. 

Speaking at a press briefing, the Minority Leader appreciated the Governor of the State for graciously approving the establishment of the Edo State Youth Parliament which is aimed at mentoring the Youth on Leadership and Governance.

Hon. Uwadia maintained that this initiative is evident as the Governor is keen on fulfilling his campaign promises of redefining the Youth Sector in Edo State.

Similarly, He appreciated the efforts of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry for Youth and Special Duties, Dr Mrs Ehimwenma Joy Ebhodaghe, Mr Victor Asiruwa, Comrade Osahon Obasuyi and all those who were instrumental in making the establishment of the state youth parliament a reality.

Lastly, he reiterated that this initiative will go a long way to help build resilient Edo youths who will grow and become great future leaders in the state and the country at large.

He called on capable youths in the state to ensure they utilize the opportunity given by the state government for them to harness their potentials.

Hon. Uwadia also commended the Speaker of Edo Youth Parliaments, Rt. Hon. Osawemwenhio Uwagboe for his leadership style aimed at redefining Edo youths for greater heights.
