POOF donates relief materials to IDPs at Evwreni, Ewu and Uwheru communities in Delta

Prince Oghenerukevwe Okifo Foundation (POOF) on, Monday donated relief materials to Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) Camps at Evwreni, Ewu kingdom and Uwheru kingdoms following the devastating flood that ravaged the communities.

The Foundation as part of its contribution to easing the pains and losses incurred by the people, many of whose only sources of income and living are completely wiped out by the ravaging flood, came to identify with the people at their trying moment by providing the relief materials.

The items donated include Bags of Rice, Cantons of Noodles, Yams, Tissue papers, washing soaps, batting Soaps and Mosquito Cores, which will help to bring succour to the flood victims.

Presenting the relief materials to the leaders of the different IDP camps, the Secretary Prince Oghenerukevwe Okifo Foundation, Hon. Desmond Okpako Duke thanks all the Heads of the Internally Displayed Person Camps for their efforts, care, time and willingness to serve the people at this time, adding that God will richly protect them throughout this period of their stay at the various camps.

While commending the efforts of the Foundation, the various heads of the camps thanked the POOF for their humanitarian gestures which has brought smile to the face of the needy at this critical time, prayed for the donor for more open doors of God’s blessings and rewards.
