15 women in Edo get grinding machines from FG as support

As part of its effort to ensure food security in the country, the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security distributed grinding machines to 15 vulnerable women on Tuesday.

The News Agency reports that each woman received one grinding machine.

The distribution was done under the ministry’s emergency empowerment of youth and women on yam processing and packaging for value addition, according to Mr. Peter Pindar, a senior Agricultural Superintendent, Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, Abuja.

Pindar said the ministry provided the grinding machines to help the women in the state improve their productivity.
