Works Minister Applauds Gov Lawal’s Urban Renewal Project in Zamfara

In a visit to Zamfara State, the Minister of Works, Mr. David Umahi, commended Governor Dauda Lawal for his administration’s ongoing urban renewal projects.

The Minister, accompanied by a former Governor of Sokoto State and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Housing, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, inspected federal road projects that cover a total distance of 277.305 kilometres.

During the visit, Umahi praised Gov Lawal for the positive impact of his consistent efforts in the urban renewal projects that have transformed Zamfara in just nine months.

He also conveyed President Muhammadu Buhari’s commitment to completing all ongoing projects, including the dualisation of federal roads, not only in Zamfara but across the country.

In response, Gov Lawal expressed gratitude for the Minister’s kind words and stated that his administration is working hard to change the negative narrative of Zamfara State.

He emphasized that the government is committed to rescuing and rebuilding the state, and thanked the President for his outstanding efforts in executing key federal projects.

The urban renewal project in Zamfara has garnered significant attention, with the Works Minister commending Gov Lawal for the transformation brought about by these initiatives.
