The Urhobo Christian Ministers Association International has lauded Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for promoting peace, inclusive governance and sustained infrastructure development across the state.

The commendation was given on Wednesday by the President of the association and General Overseer of God’s Will Mission Inc., Archbishop Solomon Gbakara, during a prayer visit to the Governor at Government House, Asaba.

Archbishop Gbakara said the ministers were grateful to God for Oborevwori’s leadership style, which he noted had fostered peaceful coexistence and balanced development in all parts of Delta State.

He praised the Governor for carrying all stakeholders along in governance, observing that since his assumption of office, the state had not experienced crises between the executive, legislature or other arms of government, a stability he attributed to Oborevwori’s wisdom and effective leadership.

The cleric also commended the administration’s extensive infrastructure drive, citing the construction of roads, schools and strategic flyovers across the state, and described the projects as impactful and reflective of the government’s commitment to equitable development.

He further applauded the Governor’s cordial relationship with the Federal Government, particularly President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that the cooperation between the state and the centre had contributed to peace and accelerated development in Delta State.

Archbishop Gbakara assured the Governor of the association’s continued prayers and support, urging him to remain focused and proactive in delivering greater dividends of democracy to the people.

Responding, Governor Oborevwori thanked the Urhobo Christian Ministers for their visit, prayers and encouragement, and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to peace, unity and the overall development of Delta State.
