Trust in Tinubu’s Leadership: Lagos Speaker Urges Nigerians to be Patient with Economic Challenges

The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, called on Nigerians to trust in the President’s ability to address the present economic challenges facing the country.

The event, organized by the Mandate Movement, a group within the Lagos chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), was themed “The Resilient Democrat and Reformer: President Bola Tinubu.”

It featured an Inter-Faith Prayers and Thanksgiving Service, with attendees expressing their support for the President and his efforts to improve Nigeria’s economic situation.

Obasa acknowledged the difficult economic conditions in the country but assured that President Tinubu was working hard to find lasting solutions.

He urged Nigerians to exercise patience and cooperate with the government to help move the country forward.

A leader in Lagos APC, Odunbaku, emphasized the importance of celebrating President Tinubu’s achievements as a politician and leader.

He mentioned that the event was also organized to pray for the President to have a long life and the wisdom to continue serving the country well.

An Islamic cleric, Dr. Hammed Olanrewaju, praised President Tinubu’s leadership and described him as a builder of men, citing the political success of individuals such as Obasa, the Chief of Staff to Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and Tayo Ayinde. He also highlighted the President’s listening nature and love for the masses.

In light of the President’s request for a low-key celebration, the event focused on praising God’s name and offering prayers for President Tinubu’s good health and long life.

As President Tinubu continues to work on addressing Nigeria’s economic challenges, the support and trust of the Nigerian people will be crucial in overcoming these obstacles and fostering a better future for the nation.
